It is my intention that you have a satisfied visit at SpecialtyTuners and I would like to hear from you if you are unhappy for any reason. Every email is important to me and I answer all emails. I have found some inquiries in my spam folder as I'm sure that some of my replies end up there also. Please be sure to check your junk folder for a response. Additionally, I have found that Yahoo, who provides my hosting, can decide to block some emails for various security reasons, so if you get no reply, please use my alternate email, or even call me and leave a message. Shipping Policies:
Most tuner orders will ship within five business days. All other customized tuners such as steel string or multiple string sets (seven string, eight string, etc that are not individual tuners) may take up to ten (10) business days to assemble and make ready for shipping but generally will be less.
Shipping for the United States and its territories is done through the United States Post Office using their Priority mail. The estimated time for delivery is advertised as 2-3 days but is not guaranteed. I have found the Priority mail system to be extremely efficient, accurate, and cost effective, with orders under one pound costing around $5. US mainland shipping can also be done with United Parcel Service Ground shipping. The timing varies depending upon the distance from the west coast. West coast deliveries are generally 1-2 days while sites further east can range to eight days. However, the cost for UPS is significantly higher. I offer UPS as an alternative but I am extremely pleased with the US Postal Service and ship 99% of my orders with them. I offer two different choices for international shipping. The first choice for international shipping is done with the United States Postal Service's Express Mail International. Express Mail International is advertised as 3-5 days but the service is not guaranteed. The second option for international destinations is United States Postal Service's Priority Mail International. Priority Mail International is advertised by the USPS as 6-10 days but is not guaranteed. Foreign Sales
The customer will be responsible for any fees imposed by the purchaser's country for import duty.Refund and Return Policies:
Full refunds will be given with customer notification within ten (10) business days and must be returned in the original shipping container. Refunds after ten business days will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.Tax Rates
The sales tax rate calculator has been set for California resident transactions at a rate of 9.25%. While the sales tax computed for California residents by the tax calculator will display as this highest rate, your tax rate will be adjusted for the address the tuners are being shipped to and you will be charged the tax rate for that county. You will receive an email within 24 hours detailing the sales tax you will be charged.
