The drill jig is a block of metal with precise holes needed to accept the tuner. The jig ensures the correct spacing of the holes and that the holes are drilled at a perpendicular angle to the guitar head. Metal plates are used to clamp the jig to the guitar head and align the jig. Care must be taken to avoid crushing the guitar head with the clamps. Clamps and metal plates not included with drill jig.
